TheRed Devils face Newcastle United who are finding it hard to win a match, they have just one win in five last matches. United travels to St. James’ Park on Sunday for their clash.
The most favourable to win at the moment is Manchester United netting 4 goals to one in the previous clash and will be working on repeating the scores or better still do better than thry did in the Old Trafford.
Head to Head Newcastle has won 12 on the road and this will put fear into many Red Devils fans and with Manchester United’s woeful performance record against Newcastle this just increases reasons to be concerned.
Jose Mourinho will be planning on picking a win at St. James’ Park on Sunday to break the no win curse having three draws and three losses in last six matches.
This is a suggested line-up Manchester United will use against Newcastle on Sunday
On to the Goalkeeper:
David De Gea should be available for the Newcastle clash, the Spanish International is expected to be the last line of defence in this match.
David De Gea is arguably the best keeper in England and will be working on adding to his clean sheet for the season, he has 15 clean sheets in 26 games in this seasons campaign.
Moving onto the defenders:
The Newcastle United strikers have a lot of work to do to beat the United defenders on Sunday, Jose Mourinho’s defenders have conceded the fewest number of goals this seasons campaign conceding only 18 goals.
The Manchester United manager will hopefully stick to four man back line like the one he used against Huddersfield at the Old Trafford last week.
Antonio Valencia is to stick to his back line as expected while he will be accompanied by Marcos Rojo and Chris Smalling to show their impressive skills in the middle when paired.
Finally at the last back we have Luke Shaw to retain hos position as he has been able to handle the position well with maturity and experience and with this he has forced himself into Jose Mourinho’s starting line-up.
Then we have the Midfield:
Last week McTominay started against the Terriers last weekend while our star French man was on the bench but that won’t be happening this time around, Paul Pogba will be taking centre stage alongside former Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic to produce creative passes and crosses to produce goals.
Nemanja Matic will producing good football and also be watching out for the defence while Pogba works on creating foal chances.
Alexis Sanchez is expected to start this match on the left attacking side of the midfield and will be hoping to score more goals for United after scoring against Huddersfield in the weekend. Jesse Lingaard is expected to hold down his place as well.
Juan Mata has been a Goal maker and he is expected to start to show his goal creativity on the pitch as he has created goals for Lukaku and other United striker this season and he was a provider for Lukaku against Huddersfield.
Finally to the Attack:
Former Everton striker is expected to take charge of the Attack in the middle and will be hoping to perform against Newcastle United on Sunday
